Fit reference: 195 cm / 95 kg

Fit Guide

Selected with tall men and larger frames in mind. Actual measurements on every garment. Height and weight alone cannot tell you whether a garment will fit — always compare the measurements.

The reference body

Where a firsthand note is given, it describes how the garment fits one person: 195 cm tall, about 95 kg. That note appears only on pieces that were actually tried on. It is a reference point, not a promise that the garment will fit every tall buyer.

Jackets, shirts, knitwear

pit to pitshoulderssleeveback length
  • Pit to pit: straight across the chest, garment flat and buttoned where possible.
  • Shoulders: seam to seam across the back.
  • Sleeve: shoulder seam to cuff edge.
  • Back length: base of the collar to the hem.

Jeans, trousers, shorts

waist laid flatfront riseinseamhem
  • Waist laid flat: across the top of the waistband, edge to edge — not the full circumference.
  • Front and back rise: crotch seam up to the top of the waistband.
  • Inseam: crotch seam to the leg opening.
  • Hem width: flat across the leg opening.

How to compare

  1. Choose a garment of the same type that fits you the way you like.
  2. Lay it flat, smooth out the fabric, and measure it the same way as described above.
  3. Compare those numbers with the measurements listed on the piece.
  4. Allow for the fit you want: a little more across the chest for layering, a little more in the waist for comfort.

Vintage sizing varies considerably. Please compare these measurements with a garment that fits you well.

All measurements are in centimetres, with an inches toggle on every product page. Waist figures are the flat measurement, not the circumference.
